  • Installfests — The next Installfest is scheduled for this Saturday, January 26th. Visit www.lugod.org/if to RSVP. Contact [email protected] or post to the 'vox-if' mailing list for more information, or if you'd like to volunteer for future IFs.

  • LERT — No LERT calls since last meeting. As usual, send email to [email protected] if you need emergency Linux help.

  • Library — No discussion.

Other Business

  • Financial Report — $55.50 in voluntary dues were collected.

  • Food — LUGOD purchased 5 pizzas from Village Bakery, a large chocolate cake from The Nugget, and some chips, soda, water and ice cream, to celebrate LUGOD's 9th birthday.

Presentation

  • Christian Einfeldt, producer of The Digital Tipping Point, discussed the documentary film project, and recorded responses to questions about the Linux and Open Source movement from LUGOD attendees, for possible inclusion in the final video. (All raw material will be available on DTP's repository at the Internet Archive, www.archive.org.)
